The main facilities are located in several buildings at La Marina station in Alicante, where the principal activities related to managing the railway company are carried out:
- Administration and Personnel Offices
- Command Post
- Customer Service Centre
El Campello Workshops
Maintenance and warehouse of FGV material is centralised at the El Campello workshops.
Benidorm rolling stock depot
With a surface area of 2,224.8 square meters and located next to the station itself, the new Benidorm rolling stock depot began to be used in January 2022.
These facilities allow trains to be parked under cover and to carry out quick inspections of the units, without having to travel to the El Campello workshop.
“The new depot will facilitate maintenance work on Line 9 and even Line 1 trains, if necessary, with a greater capacity to respond to incidents and, in short, offering a better service to passengers”.
Dénia Workshop
In January 2023, work was completed on the refurbishment of the previously unused Dénia workshop so that these facilities can accommodate the new dual trains (electric and diesel) running on Line 9.
The project includes, among other actions, the enlargement of the maintenance pit. In addition, the toilets, changing rooms and offices have been adapted, parking spaces have been relocated, a cleaning and recycling point has been built and a new motorised access door has been installed.
