  • FGV has already started the first works to restore circulation as soon as possible
  • The València Sud complex has been severely affected, as has the infrastructure and the catenary of the network, especially between Sant Isidre and Castelló

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) reports that in the coming days there will continue to be no service on the entire Metrovalencia network.

The public company has already started the first works to restore metro and tram traffic in the shortest possible time, always taking into account that the damage caused by the heavy rains on Tuesday was so great that the work had to be carried out in stages.

The facilities in València Sud, the headquarters of FGV, were severely affected by the floods, with significant damage to the workshops, offices and the Command Post.

Likewise, the Metrovalencia railway network as a whole is severely damaged, especially the section between Sant Isidre and Castelló, the southern section of Line 1, with all kinds of damage to both the tracks and the catenaries.

FGV will keep its users informed through various means of any developments that occur in the partial or total restoration of metro and tram services in the coming days.
