This new regulation represents a milestone, as it is the first time that a single document regulates the entirety of railway and tramway operations at a regional level and not only FGV. The document includes the real operations of all Metrovalencia and TRAM d’Alacant lines currently in service, as well as possible extensions.
The regulation is a technical document that includes all the necessary safety analysis procedures. Railway technicians from FGV’s Operations Department participated in its development for over two years, with the collaboration of technicians from other involved departments.
