The Alicante Line in Denia travels along the northern coast of the province of Alicante and runs 129,099 Kilometres long with 70 stations and stops. 21 trams and 9 train-TRAM operate on the regular line between Alicante and Benidorm with a Metropolitan TRAM railway platform, as well as 6 diesel that cover the route between Benidorm and Denia.
The TRAM, provides service to the Alicante seafront and to the key areas in the city of Alicante, like the administration centre and the Central Market. In the future the Alicante Intermodal Station will cover the hospital area, the University and El Altet airport.
The new Line 2 starts at Lucero station and provides service to General Hospital, the neighbourhoods of ‘Virgen del Carmen’ and ‘Virgen del Remedio’, University campus and Sant Vicent del Raspeig.
