Description
The units of the series 5000 correspond to the second generation of FGV TRAM trains, and are the first in Spain to combine the specific characteristics of these vehicles: As a tramway on urban tracks and as commuter trains on interurban tracks; adding, in the case of these units, their dual power supply characteristic: Diesel, by means of motor-generator sets, and electric by means of conventional catenary.
